General Application
If you believe your skills could contribute to Drasken Labs but don't see a suitable opening, send us your details and tell us where you think you could contribute.
Writing a Useful General Application
A general application is not tied to an opening, so it has to explain the fit on its own. These are the things that make one easy to assess.
Pick the closest area
Choose the area of interest nearest to the work you want to do. If none fits, choose Other and explain in your own words.
Be specific about where you could contribute
Name the kind of problem you want to work on and what you would bring to it — a system you have built, a skill you have gone deep on, a result you delivered.
Share a CV link that opens
Use a link that opens without a sign-in, such as a Google Drive file shared with “Anyone with the link”, so it can be read straight away.
Show your work
LinkedIn, GitHub or a portfolio are optional, but code, projects or writing you can point to say more than a list of technologies.
What Happens Next
When there is a fit with current or upcoming work, a general application moves through the same steps as an application for an open role.
